PICKUP<\/strong> Trees will be available for pickup at the Powell Community Center, 6200 Martway St, Mission, KS on Saturday, September 20, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.<\/span><\/p>\n

Additional Tree Programs<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mission is proud to be a Tree City USA since 2002. The Parks, Recreation + Tree Commission has programs throughout the year to support Mission\u2019s tree canopy. You can get involved in several ways.<\/p>\n

Celebration Tree Program<\/strong><\/p>\n

Life is full of occasions to celebrate – the lives of loved ones, weddings, anniversaries, retirements, etc. The City of Mission Parks, Recreation + Tree Commission\u2019s Celebration Tree Program offers opportunities to plant a tree in one of our parks to recognize those moments.<\/span><\/p>\n

A donation to the City of Mission covers the cost of the tree, the installation of the tree, and the maintenance of the tree for the duration of its life. Donors will receive a certificate and a map of the tree\u2019s location within the park. Donations are accepted in the following amounts based on the size of tree requested:<\/p>\n
